Nine Senior Executives of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited have taken retirement from the Bank after accomplishment of thirty years service life in IBBL. To honour them, IBBL organized a farewell reception on June 27, 2013 at Mohammad Younus Auditorium in Islami Bank Tower. Engr. Mustafa Anwar, Vice Chairman of the Bank, was present in the function as chief guest. Presided over by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank, the function was addressed among others by Humayun Bakhteyar, ACPA, FCA and Barrister Belayet Hossain, Directors, Mohd. Shamsul Haque, Md. Nurul Islam, Md. Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, FCA, Muhammad Abul Bashar, Deputy Managing Directors, Md. Nurul Islam Khalifa, Md. Najibur Rahman, Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Md. Kabir Hossain, Md. Shamsul Huda and Md. Ataur Rahman, Executive Vice Presidents and Md. Aminur Rahman, President, Islami Bank Officer Welfare Association.
Speakers in the farewell sought for the long life and prayed to Almighty for the sound health of the retiring executives.
The retiring executives are Md. Habibur Rahman, Md. Setaur Rahman and Syed Abdullah Mohammad Saleh, Deputy Managing Directors, Abu Taher Mohammad Saleh, Gulam Moula Choudhury, Md. Nurul Islam, Md. Azizur Rahman, Md. Rafiqul Islam and Engr. Ghulam Sarwar, Executive Vice Presidents. They served the Bank in different important positions including Head of different divisions and wings of the Bank during the last thiry years.
