Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has launched a program on “100 days of Building Bridge” to ensure banking service for all the people of the country. The program started on January 01, 2012 and it will continue till April 09, 2012. Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman of the Bank inaugurated the program as Chief Guest on January 1, 2012 with the slogan of “Let’s go to 16 crore people and we decorate our country.”
Presided over by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank the program was addressed by Engr. Mustafa Anwar, Vice Chairman, Engr. Md. Eskander Ali Khan, Chairman, Executive Committee, Md. Shahidul Islam, Chairman, Audit Committee as Special Guests. Mominul Islam Patwary, Engr. Daood Khan, Humayun Bokhteyar, ACPA, FCA, Directors, Mohd. Shamsul Haque, Md. Habibur Rahman, Md. Nurul Islam, Md. Abul Bashar, Syed Abdullah Mohammed Saleh, Md. Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, FCA, Deputy Managing Directors, top executives of Head Office, clients and well-wishers were also present on the occasion.
Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher in his speech as Chief Guest said that the bridge between Islami Bank and the people started in 1983. Islami Bank has been working for the welfare of mankind since its inception. Islami Bank is the Bank for all irrespective of cast-creed and religion. He said Islami Bank works with all from beggar to millionaire. Islami Bank will work for beggar-free Bangladesh on next hundred days. Mentioning the success achieved in 2011 he told that Islami Bank will continue its work with the trust of people in future as well as the past.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan in his Presidential speech said Islami Bank has undertaken 100 days program to strengthen the bond of relationship with people. Islami Bank has been working for economic development of Bangladesh.
