Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah is a distinguished legal scholar and academic leader, currently serving as Vice Chancellor of Islamic University, Kushtia and Senior Professor in the Department of Law at the University of Dhaka. He is also a Member of the Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC.

With over 31 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Nasrullah specializes in International Trade and Investment Law, International Humanitarian Law, Human Rights, and Islamic Jurisprudence. He holds a PhD and MPhil in Law from Macquarie University, an LL.M in International Law from University of New South Wales, and LL.M and LL.B (Honours) degrees from the University of Dhaka. He also holds Kamil degrees in Hadith and Fiqh under the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board.

Dr. Nasrullah has authored and co-authored influential books and numerous research articles published by leading international publishers and journals. He is a distinguished academic and mentor who has supervised many MPhil and PhD researchers, including international students.

Dr. Nasrullah has earned several prestigious fellowships and scholarships, such as the Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarship, the Australian Leadership Award, and fellowships from the Hague Academy of International Law, UNITAR, and the ICRC. Actively engaged in global legal scholarship, he frequently presents at international conferences and collaborates with institutions across Asia, Europe, and Australia. Beyond academia, he has served as a Jessup International Moot Court judge in Washington, DC, is a member of the American Society of International Law, and contributes to community leadership as President of the Rotary Club of Dhaka Buriganga.
