Islami Bank Dhaka zones and corporate branches holds Half-Yearly Business Development Conference

The Half-Yearly Business Development Conference of the Dhaka Central, Dhaka East Zone and Six
Corporate Branches of Dhaka City Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC was held on Saturday, 1 August
2026, at Islami Bank Tower. Mohammad Zahir Hussain, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank
assigned to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Islami Bank, addressed the conference as
the Chief Guest. Md. Altaf Hossain, Managing Director (Acting) presided over the programme.
Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder and Dr M Kamal Uddin Jasim Additional Managing Directors,
Md. Mahboob Alam, Mahmudur Rahman, Md. Rafiqul Islam and Md. Maksudur Rahman Deputy
Managing Directors, Md. Mahbub-A-Alam, Head of Dhaka Central Zone, Muhammad Solaiman,
Head of Dhaka East Zone and Heads of the six Corporate Branches of Dhaka City along with the
Bank’s executives and officials, were present on the occasion.
