Two Islami Bank Remittance Clients win Gear Bicycles

Hamida Begum, a client of the Gorai Sub-branch in Tangail, and Anup Kumar, a client of the
Gulshan Corporate Branch in Dhaka have won gear bicycles on the first day in the
Remittance Festival by receiving remittance through Western Union at Islami Bank
Bangladesh PLC. They won these prizes against remittances sent by Zahid Sikder, an
expatriate in Brunei, Darussalam and Sarah Sabrina, a USA citizen. Md. Altaf Hossain,
Managing Director (Current Charge) of the Bank was present as chief guest at the digital
raffle draw held at Islami Bank Tower on May 04, 2026 Monday. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy
Managing Director, Md. Abul Hasan, Senior Vice Presiden, Md. Motahar Hossain Molla;
Head of Foreign Remittance Services Division, Md. Shahadat Hossain; Head of Overseas
Banking Division and representatives from Western Union also attended the program.
In this campaign, a total of 34 gear bicycles, two each on every banking day through digital
raffle draw among the remittance recipients is being awarded. Additionally, remittance
clients are receiving a wall clock as a guaranteed gift. The campaign will continue until May
31, 2026.
